Developed for iOS and Android, without any sort of design other than the coke-fuelled whimsy from Tauntr.com’s execs, Streaker features full male and female nudity, cops with tazers, dancing cheerleaders and the Lawnmower of Death!
EndZone is an American football-themed dance game for iOS and Android, produced for those crazy dudes at Tauntr.com. As well as the usual beat-tapping, the game involves swipes and drawing shapes in time to the music.
Squeeballs Party is a collection of fun, novel games designed to make use of the Nintendo Wii’s controllers, and proprietary controllers for PS3 and XBox360.
My task was to rewrite some of the games to form a cut-down release for first-generation iPhones, using Unity. This involved remaking all the 3D models and animations, whilst keeping the game true to the original.
A six month labour of love (read “made no money at all”), Gridrunner++ was a conversion of Jeff Minter’s classic game. Initially ported to ancient mobile phones running J2ME (through careful use of magic, alchemy and ritual sacrifice), the game was built using my own cross platform engine; allowing the game to also run within web browsers running Java and Flash.
The Flash version also had an outing on Facebook, where it contained a graphical highscore table showing how your score compared with those of your friends.
